Barry J Whyte is a journalist from Kildare, Ireland. He has worked for RTE.ie (the website of Ireland’s taxpayer-funded public broadcaster), The Phoenix (Ireland’s biggest news and current affairs magazine), and he has earned an M.S. in journalism from Columbia University’s Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism. He is currently the editor of InstititutionalInvestor.com.

Most recently, he is the author of ‘Making the Weight: Boxing’s Lethal Secret,’ a 10,000 word investigative report on the practice of dangerous dehydration among professional boxers.
